TERMS OF SERVICE
All bridal and event bookings are governed by the terms of service below. Please do take the time to read through and familiarise yourself with the terms of service before finalising your booking. By securing your date with a paid deposit you are agreeing to the below terms.
Booking & Payment
To secure a date for your Bridal or Event Makeup, a 30% non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit is required within 48 hours of your commitment to secure a booking. Please note your requested date and time will only be reserved once the deposit is received.
For Bridal and Group bookings there is minimum of 4 people required for mobile servicing. Once the deposit is received and the date is secured, you may add to the number of makeups booked. The number of makeups booked cannot be reduced once within one month of your booking date.
Additional Bridal fees: When an early start time is required (before 6am) the client may be subject to an additional fee such as overnight accommodation or early start fee’s, these will be discussed with the client at the time of booking.
The final balance is due 2 weeks before the event.
Cancellations
Bridal and Group Makeup Bookings: A cancellation within 2 months from the wedding day will result in full payment due. All deposits paid to secure the date are non-refundable and non-transferable, for a cancellation outside of the 2 months of your wedding date the deposit will be held.
Event Makeup Bookings: 48 Hours’ notice is required to cancel your appointment. By cancelling your appointment, you will forfeit your 30% deposit. A reminder text and email are sent to you 72 hours before your booking date. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time, will result in full payment due.
In the very unlikely event that Gemma Jamieson is unable to attend the booking due to sickness, injury, personal emergency or any other circumstance beyond her control, Gemma will endeavour to find a replacement artist of a similar standard and transfer all money paid by client to the new supplier. However, finding a replacement cannot always be guaranteed. If Gemma is unable to find a replacement makeup artist, the client will receive a full refund of monies paid associated with the wedding date.
Parking
For all mobile servicing work, due to the volume and heaviness of the Makeup kit, parking is to be organised and provided at the location/venue in which Gemma will be travelling to. The client will be required to cover valet parking at hotels, parking station fees or meter fees closest to the location/venue..
Sensitivities and Allergies
For any person receiving a makeup service has any known allergies or sensitivities to particular makeup ingredients, skincare, Makeup tools or certain makeup brands, you must notify Gemma at the time of booking or before the appointment starts so all precautious can be taken and planned in advance.
If the person receiving the makeup service is suffering from any contagious or non-contagious illnesses or skin irritations, please let Gemma know before the day of your booking so we can evaluate the safest outcome together and discuss options available.
Gemma carries out strict health and safety policies when at work and ensures all products and tools are sanitised after every use. All necessary procedures are implemented to keep you safe and reduce risk.
Insurance:
Gemma is covered with all necessary insurance policies and is happy to provide the paperwork where requested.
